25:22. ಬಾಬಿಲೋನ್ ರಾಜನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಅವನು ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನೂ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

25:22. ಆದರೆ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ತಾನು ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಸಿದ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

25:22. Now King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, as governor over the people whom he allowed to remain in the land of Judah.
